How can we help?

You'll get a confirmation email right away. We're inviting people in small waves on iOS and Android. When your spot opens, we'll email you with instructions to install SIREN.

Check your spam or promotions folder for a message from support@trysirenapp.com. If it isn't there, request access again with the same address, or email us and we'll check the list for you.

Reply to any beta email, or write to support@trysirenapp.com, and we'll remove your address.

Signals are local. If nobody near you has broadcast recently, there may be nothing to show yet. Also check that SIREN has location access: on iOS, Settings → SIREN → Location → While Using the App; on Android, Settings → Apps → SIREN → Permissions → Location.

Signals decay over time unless people engage with them. A new signal with no engagement usually lasts 12–24 hours. Signals people React to, Stack on or Clone become AMPLIFIED and can last much longer.

When a signal decays to DEAD it leaves the feed, but it isn't deleted. You'll still find it on your profile, and you can stash or archive it there.

React is a short video response to a signal. Stack adds your perspective on top of an existing signal. Clone remakes the idea from your own point of view as a new signal. The community votes on Clones, and the ones that hold up travel on their own.

Keys control private access. Request someone's Key from their profile; they can issue it, and either of you can revoke it at any time.

Solo is private, two-way communication, and both of you must hold each other's Key. Circle is a small trusted group. Stream broadcasts to everyone who holds your Key.

Private signals are archived after 24 hours of inactivity. Open your archive from your profile to find them.

Use the report option on the signal, Clone or private conversation. For anything urgent, email support@trysirenapp.com with the person's handle and what happened.

On iOS, go to Settings → Notifications → SIREN. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → SIREN → Notifications. You can also manage notification types inside the app under Profile → Notifications.

Go to Profile → Settings. Deactivate is the option to choose if you might come back. Deleting permanently revokes your sign-in and removes your personal information, and can't be undone. Content you've posted may stay visible under an anonymized identity, so delete any signals you want gone first.
